Family Solicitor

Who are you?

You’re a capable and compassionate Solicitor or Legal Executive, specialising in Family Law. You have at least 2 years of post-qualified experience, and you’re looking for the next stage in your career, the chance to join a leading regional firm. You pride yourself on your ability to put clients at ease and guide them through trying times. Perhaps you have a qualification in collaborative law or mediation.

Who will you be working for?

You will be joining a highly-regarded regional firm, with offices across Sussex and the South East. The firm is recognised in the Legal 500, and Chambers and Partners, for the Family work they undertake. You will join the busy team in the firm’s Eastbourne office, and also work with the wider department across the region.

Your role

You will handle a wide range of Family Law areas, including divorce, financial remedy, pre and post nuptial agreements, Children Act proceedings, TOLATA, and cohabitation agreements. You will work both with existing clients, and guide new clients from introduction to conclusion. You will also use your excellent networking skills to participate in business development and your interpersonal and communication skills to nurture client relationships.

You will be supported by the Eastbourne based Family team and the wider Family department, as the firm value positive and friendly relationships between colleagues.

You will receive a competitive salary, commensurate with your level of post-qualification experience.
