An award winning, pioneering aerospace business based in Pulborough is seeking a diligent, committed, and ambitious Customs & Logistics Manager to join them in a pivotal role for the business. The main purpose of this extremely varied role is full cycle, end to end management of all import/exports. The ideal candidate will have strong problem solving ability, excellent communications skills and have the ability to work well under pressure.

Some of the main responsibilities include:

• Obtaining quotations from Freight Forwarders, negotiate best possible rates and discounts
• Learning customs regulations relevant to the shipments and serve as an SME to your colleagues
• Communicating with colleagues, customers and their agents in a proficient manner, both verbally and in written format
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and disruptions in the supply chain, such as customs delays,
  trade disputes, or transportation issues. Develop contingency plans to address emergencies and
  minimise operational impacts.
