Position: Temporary Credit Controller
Location: Croydon, Surrey
Salary: £14.00 – £16.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Duration: Immediate start until the end of February 2025
Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for a temporary role with an immediate start?
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Credit Controller to join our client on a temporary basis in Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills and gain valuable experience with a leading company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing credit control processes, ensuring timely payment of invoices
- Liaising with customers regarding outstanding balances and resolving queries
- Monitoring customer accounts to identify overdue payments
- Maintaining accurate records of all communications and payment updates
- Producing regular reports on debt recovery and aged debt status
- Working collaboratively with the finance team to ensure smooth financial operations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit control or a similar finance role
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Proficient in using financial systems, sage and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Able to start immediately and commit to the role until the end of February 2025
