Country VAT Manager l Netherlands

The world of VAT is forever evolving. For as long as we’ve known, tax has been a complex and burdensome task, leading many businesses to bury their heads in the sand. But as the tax sector evolves and we move into a new era of digitalisation, we’re seeing some amazing companies challenging the status quo by bringing simplicity and fun to the world of VAT.  And this team is now looking for a VAT Manager to drive them forward.

This is a chance to join one of our fastest growing clients, who’ve been making A LOT of noise in the VAT technology space. Over the last 3 years they have grown their team to 100+ and are turning some heads across Europe.

With growth in mind, they’re now searching for a Country VAT Manager to lead both their product and delivery of VAT compliance services in the Netherlands.

You’ll be a subject matter expert, with 5+ years of experience in VAT,  you’ll easily be able to explain complex tax issues to non-tax people.

On the day-to-day, you’ll be involved in

• Monitoring VAT news in the region and sharing the knowledge with other teams
• Updating and testing tax returns produced by our software
• Collaboration with the product team on adding new countries and advanced features
• Assisting clients with queries and tax audits

You’ll join a team of innovative tax & technology experts, led by ex-Big 4 or large VAT software players who were brought together by the frustration of corporate ‘red tape’ & bureaucracy stifling innovation.
