Or, perhaps you’re a newly qualified commercial solicitor or legal executive and like the idea of an in-house role? If you’re interested in becoming part of a huge network of professionals contributing toward positive progress in healthcare, you could do so by becoming this global company’s newest Commercial Contracts Manager.

If you’d like to improve your impact on the world through your work, then joining an in-house legal team as a Commercial Contracts Manager for our West Sussex-based client may be the ideal move. In this hybrid position, you’ll use your in-depth knowledge of contracts to find solutions that manage business, legal and compliance risks for a well-known healthcare company.

In this dynamic environment, you’ll be drafting, arranging, and organising customer contracts, thus earning bids which will oversee your customers’ provision of healthcare equipment. Furthermore, operating within a cross-functional matrix management system, you will work independently to make decisions whilst collaborating with others in the wider team and liaise with stakeholders across the business to ensure all customers’ needs are met.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Solid business acumen: savviness to identify potential risks whilst being pragmatic and flexible in your decision-making,
  • Experience in commercial contracts: reviewing, drafting, amending and negotiating highly complex and high-value tenders and contracts,
  • Strong communication skills: the confidence to liaise with colleagues whilst also representing your company, by advocating for your decisions and being influential within your capacity as a commercial contracts manager,
  • Experience of public procurement: dealing with tenders and contracts. Also, familiarity with the latest procurement regulations would be advantageous.
