Bookkeeper/Management Accountant

We are recruiting for a Bookkeeper/Management Accountant with a background in accountancy practice for a role with a leading independent firm of chartered accountants in Lewes, East Sussex.

You will be joining their business services team which provides Accounts Preparation, Management Accounting, Bookkeeping & Cloud Accounting services to a broad range of clients.

​The role will involve managing the bookkeeping, VAT returns & Management Accounts for a range of clients, using cloud accounting software. You will be joining a supportive and friendly team, and ​work with a very varied and interesting client portfolio in a job where no two days are the same.

About you:

• Ideally AAT qualified or equivalent
• Strong previous experience of bookkeeping & management accounts processes and procedures
• Previous accountancy practice experience would be a big advantage
• Good working knowledge of cloud based accounting software , particularly Sage, Quickbooks and Xero
• Excellent client facing skills
