Audit Assistant l Hampshire

We have a new opportunity for an Audit Assistant to join an independent and friendly practice in Southampton! A firm with an excellence reputation as being a great place to work and with the staff retention and progression to really back that statement up!

You’ll be joining a team of audit professionals who pride themselves on their expertise and dedication to client service. With a predominantly local client base giving you the best of both worlds, onsite work without the long drives and overnight stays…

You’ll be responsible for ensuring compliance, performing risk assessments, and preparing detailed audit write-ups for review. You’ll also be working closely with clients, reviewing their accounting systems, and providing recommendations for improved controls.

Ideally you’ll be studying towards your ACCA or ACA qualification with practice experience of UK audits and financial accounts preparation.
