Accounts Technician

We have a fantastic new opportunity for someone who has already gained some experience in an accountancy firm to join this fast growing, friendly firm of accounts in the Eastbourne area, East Sussex as an Accounts Technician

Maybe you have completed, or nearly completed your AAT, or have started studying towards ACCA and now want to join a firm where you be part of a lively and collaborative team as you develop your skills and progress your career.

If you want variety in your work that is on offer here – you will prepare year end accounts, corporate and personal tax returns and be responsible for some bookkeeping, VAT and management accounts work. The firm has a very varied client base, and you will encouraged to use your initiative and liaise directly with clients.

About you:

• AAT qualified/ACCA part qualified or QBE
• Already have experience of preparing year end accounts in an accountancy practice environment
• Enthusiastic about working with SME clients
• Self motivated with good attention to detail
• Keen to keep learning and take on responsibility
