Accounts Semi Senior

We are working with a growing chartered accountancy firm Eastbourne, East Sussex to recruit an experienced Accounts Semi Senior.

This well established, friendly and growing accountancy firm are looking for an experienced Accounts Semi Senior to join their busy team. If you have a background in professional practice and are now looking for a long term career opportunity in a supportive environment this could be the role for you. The firm has a well established management team, is organised and well run, and are recruiting due to an increase in work as they contine to win new business.

The main focus of the role will be preparing year end accounts for a range of clients, mainly SME businesses. You will also prepare tax returns and be involved in bookkeeping, and liaising with clients.
You will be joining an established and highly skilled team, and receive all the support to develop your skills. You will be working from modern offices in an easily accessible location.

What we’re looking for:

• Recent experience in an accountancy practice/firm of accountants
• You will be confident in preparing accounts and tax returns
• Experience working with cloud based accountancy software
• Ideally AAT qualified, ACCA part qualified or actively studying
• Hands on attitude, with strong customer focus
