Harvey John is working with a small and collaborative accountancy practice who are looking for a Client Manager to join their team in Guildford.

The firm is experiencing exciting organic growth and in order to accommodate this, a new position has been created to add extra capacity to the team. Their client base is predominantly small business that prepare accounts under FRS105.

This well-established team has fantastic processes in place to service their client base. As such, at the manager level their roles are review-only with responsibility for managing client relationships.

Day-to-day:

• Looking after a portfolio of clients and being their day-to-day contact for queries
• Review of work prepared by junior team members including year-end accounts, corporation tax, and personal tax returns
• Collaborating with other team members to produce a seamless service to their client base

To succeed in this role:

• AAT or ACA/ACCA qualified or QBE
• Extensive experience being client-facing and looking after a portfolio
• Confident reviewing the work of others
• Strong understanding of accounts prepared under FRS105 and both business and personal tax
