HR Manager, Worthing, West Sussex. Harvey John HR recruitment is working exclusively with a unique independent organisation to recruit for an HR Manager.

The main purpose of the role is to lead, develop and maintain an HR function that supports the business strategy, growth and development. To implement processes and procedures to support the HR development strategy whilst maintaining Statutory compliance and a best practice approach.

Duties to include to implement the HR strategy devising processes, procedures and policies as required; to develop performance management process and develop an effective annual appraisal process; to design and develop employment policies and employee documentation within statutory requirements; to develop job descriptions and person specifications for all roles; to conduct training needs analysis and design and deliver soft skills training as required; to train and develop Board, Line Manager and Supervisors in HR process.

The ideal candidate will come from a generalist background having previously managed an HR function before within a SME. As this is a stand alone role reporting to the MD you will be confident in your ability, enthusiastic, and a dynamic individual with the knowledge and innovative thinking to drive this company forward. You will be a graduate or member of CIPD and hold a degree or post graduate HR/CIPD qualification or similar.
