Retail & Consumer Services Manager, Brighton. Harvey John recruitment is working with a professional sports organisation with the recruitment of a Retail & Consumer Services Manager. Reporting to the Chief Executive, the job holder will be responsible for the provision of excellence in all aspects of the Consumer Services (i.e. membership and ticketing) and Retail functions within the organisation and to provide effective, efficient and innovative management and development of the Club's Retail business.

A full job description is available for all shortlisted applicants with duties to include the management and motivation of a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency; manage stock levels and make key decisions regarding stock control and Implement an effective stock control policy; record sales figures and pricing structures of merchandise, membership and tickets for data analysis and forward planning in an efficient and timely manner; responding to customer complaints and comments and provide a high level of customer service whilst providing clear and accurate advice regarding ticket and membership packages.

There will also be opportunities to step outside the Retail and Consumer Services role so a flexible can-do attitude and willingness to get stuck in is a must. Finding the right blend of personal qualities and values, backed up with solid professional Retail and Consumer Services skills is a key priority for the organisation.

Applicants will have proven success in a retail management role with experience of working in a small business environment being desirable. A retail management or business qualification would be advantageous.
