Senior Corporate Counsel, London. A Senior Corporate Counsel is required for the European Union Region of a leading telecoms company, to be based in London. The company is seeking a senior level Solicitor to focus on commercial transactions and a variety of other corporate matters for their European business. The solicitor will support the Company’s EU locations for all general corporate and employment matters and work on commercial transactions with respect to customers located in the EU. The successful candidate will work independently but collaboratively as part of a small and fast-paced legal department.
The ideal candidate will have both law firm and in-house experience; exposure working in a global organisation and at least 10 years of experience. The position is based will be based in the London office, although the Company is willing to be flexible as to location. The candidate will report to the Companys General Counsel located in California.
General experience should include: drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of customer commercial transactions including agreements for software development and licensing, service and consulting agreements, inbound license agreements; advising clients on structuring complex international commercial transactions, including sales and services contracts; intellectual property matters and IPR best practices; and employment matters in the EU.
