I am still an active recruiter focussing predominately on middle and senior management roles for commercial and charitable organisations across Sussex, Surrey and Kent. I am passionate about understanding candidate and client requirements focussed on building long term relationships. Within the business, I also have key roles in HR, staff development, IT management and compliance.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife and two young children but try to escape to the golf course where possible, having been a member at Brighton and Hove Golf Club for a number of years.

Following world travels with a backpack and working on board the QE2, I started working in the recruitment industry in 1997. Having worked for a FTSE 100 and a market leading independent, it was time to go out alone! I very much enjoy the trials and tribulations of running a business but leave Stephen to read the ‘How to..’ and motivational books! I have predominantly worked on qualified vacancies on both contingency and retained assignments within different sectors across the South East and currently manage the public practice division as well as working with a number of commercial clients.

Outside of work, I work from home! The rest of my time is spent being an attentive husband and father to twins Jack and Tilly. I used to frequent music festivals and go the pub but that is now a distant memory!

I have a background of over ten years in accountancy recruitment covering the South East market. Initially working for larger recruitment organisations I realised the error of my ways and took the plunge with David and Stephen to establish Harvey John Ltd in 2004. I currently work within the commercial accountancy division sourcing roles across Mid Sussex and Surrey.

I used to have numerous personal interests including horse riding, skiing, travelling and going to music festivals. But these days as a busy working mother of two, I pretty much have my free time taken up with children’s activities and family events! Although I have been known to bribe the hubby into childcare so I can slip of to Glastonbury for the weekend!

Having completed a degree in History at the University of Sussex, I joined Harvey John in May 2008. I deal with all levels of legal recruitment, from Legal Secretaries, Paralegals and Legal Cashiers, through to Practice Managers, Associates and Partners. On the legal desk we have established client relationships throughout Sussex, Surrey, Kent and London with preferred supplier arrangements with a number of regional, high street and city firms.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my husband and our family and friends, enjoying eating out and jaunts along the seafront!

Like many people who attend Sussex University I decided to stay in Brighton and subsequently embarked on a career in recruitment! Having come from an internal recruitment background, I joined Harvey John in 2009 and now head up the HR division covering both interim and permanent appointments across the Sussex, Surrey and Kent region.

I love all sports and enjoy being healthy and keeping fit so you can usually find me in the gym or running a race for charity. I also have a passion for films especially world cinema, so any recommendations let me know!

After living in Brighton all my life I was keen to get away from home for a bit so decided to study law at Lancaster University. I enjoyed my time as a student and so continued by completing the Legal Practice Course at The City Law School, London. Although I learnt some very useful skills I decided that being a solicitor was not for me, and so returned home in the search for alternative careers. I decided to join the world of recruitment for a rewarding and challenging career that is client focused and where I can use my legal knowledge. I now work for Harvey John on the legal desk recruiting across the South East.

In my spare time I like to keep fit by running (or trying to) and manage a busy social life!

Having lived in Frankfurt, Germany until 2005 I moved to Brighton to complete my higher education. I studied Business Management with Marketing at Brighton University specialising in strategic management, organisational behaviour and marketing. After graduating, I decided to stay in Brighton and find an opportunity in the recruitment industry as being a people person, organised and self motivated this seemed suited to my skills. Now a part of the Harvey John accountancy division, I am very much looking forward to working in this new and exciting environment!

After achieving a BSc in Business Studies from Cass Business School in London I decided to flee ‘the big smoke’ and move down to Brighton with old school friends. I was lucky enough to secure a place at Harvey John in order to fund my ‘seaside life’ and keep the challenges coming now working on the Accountancy desk with David, Steve, Tia and Tamara.

I have a strong passion for music and try to spend as much of my free time as possible going to see live performances or exercising my creative side through various crafts (or as my housemates would say - just generally making a massive mess!!).
