Credit Controller Jobs

"Working in account collection, you will be responsible for following up invoices and chasing due payments..."

Working in credit will provide you with an excellent opportunity to progress to other finance departments.

There are numerous roles in this industry for you to find the ideal match. Working in account collection, you will be responsible for following up invoices and chasing due payments and acting as the middle-point between the client and the company. As a result, you will be in constant contact with a number of clients or customers via telephone and email so must be comfortable in this situation. You will be reporting to your company, ensuring that all payment collection targets are either met or exceeded. Providing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements will be required of you so you must be skilled numerically and able to use spreadsheet and word document software. Experience in any financial-based role is beneficial.

Very occasionally, some credit controller positions may see you required to attend legal proceedings, so confidence in your own ability is a must. An analytical, target-driven individual will succeed, whilst an excellent eye for detail will put you in good stead.
